That is going to school in it and I burned up the transmission racing someone, and the most recent was in a Mexican restaurant parking lot due to it losing fire because the coil got too hot. This thing has only let me down twice in the span of ownership. I'm in the middle of fixing that problem. My only problems are the gas gauge of course, and the starter sticks from time to time, and I'm having an issue with the coil getting too hot and losing fire. I still have it to this day and drive it on road trips constantly. We got the last two years of my high school running the crap out of it at the drag strip before we lobbed the cam in it and decided to put it back factory. So we bought this one and built it to run. I had already had one of these it was an 88 and I loved it. ![]() He and I were huge into drag racing and wanting to build something unique. ![]() It was mine and my dad's last project together. Despite rebuilding the motor and transmission twice, once for the drag strip and now for cruising, I love this thing to death.
